| Basic primer on plumbing codes, product standards, and certification. Provides a solid foundational understanding of the standards and codes that are discussed at PMI meetings. You'll also get a snapshot of the most important codes and standards that are used in plumbing products today. |
Overview of the current state of green building programs, sustainability efforts and standards, and water conservation efforts as they relate to plumbing products. Environmental programs are having an increasing impact on the way plumbing products are designed, marketed and solid. This part provides an overview of the issues and elements that drive this increasingly complicated portion of the marketplace. |

Hotel reservations are available at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel, located at 1551 North Thoreau Drive, Schaumburg (4 miles from the PMI office) at a rate of $109 per night (plus tax).
- Hotel registration deadline is Monday, July 13.
- Registrations can be made by calling the Renaissance direct at 1-800-468-3571 and mentioning the "Plumbing Manufacturers Institute Room Block."
- The Renaissance provides a complimentary shuttle service within 5 miles of the hotel (including the PMI office).
- Lodging is not included in the price of the workshop and is the responsibility of the registrant.
