Rolling Meadows, IL – The importance of safeguarding our precious resources forms the foundation for the Fall 2007 PMI meeting scheduled for October 7-10 at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City, Washington, DC. Whether in reference to natural resources like water or man-made resources (websites, the internet security, and intellectual property), it is essential that we work to protect what is important to us.

Following the PMI Board of Directors meeting and the general membership meeting on Sunday, October 7, the PMI fall conference will feature a variety of sessions focusing on safeguarding resources. Monday, October 8 will be comprised of PMI Issue, Standing and Product committee meetings. On Tuesday, October 9 we will feature a series of speakers on recycling, enforcement of labeling regulations, and the efficient use of water with speakers representing the US, the UK and Australia.

The conference’s grand finale will be a Wednesday, October 10 morning session devoted to the role of Nanotechnology throughout Industry and in our own. We will conclude by noon to accommodate attendees’ travel arrangements.

Invited keynote speakers include Dan Esty, Co-Author of Green To Gold: How Smart Companies Use Environmental Strategy to Innovate, Create Value and Build Competitive Advantage. Watch for other speakers to be announced soon!
