PMI Announces 2007 President And New Board Members

Schaumburg, IL – Members of the Plumbing Manufacturers Institute (PMI) elected Ken Martin as
president for the year 2007. Mr. Martin, Senior Director Product Marketing for Delta Faucet Company
in Indianapolis, IN was elected at the 2006 Fall Meeting in Washington, DC held October 8-11, 2006
at the Omni Shoreham Hotel. President Martin succeeds 2006 PMI President, Claude Theisen, President
and CEO of T&S Brass and Bronze Works, who will continue to serve as PMI Immediate Past President.
The 2007 PMI Board of Directors will include Mr. Martin as President; Rod Ward, President of Speakman
Company, as First Vice President; Bill Axline, Executive Vice President and COO of Fluidmaster, Inc.,
as Second Vice President; and Pete DeMarco, Director, Compliance Engineering at American Standard, Inc.,
as Treasurer. New Directors at Large include Jack Krecek, Vice President of Marketing of Elkay
Manufacturing Company and Stephanie Leonardos, President and CEO of Amerikam, Inc.
Returning Directors at Large include William Ball, Vice President of WCM, Industries, Inc.;
Ray Fisher Jr., President of Fisher Manufacturing Company; Herb Barnhart, Executive Vice President
of Tempress Ltd; Walt Strader, Vice President, R&D and Engineering of Price Pfister.
Representing manufacturers across the plumbing industry, the Board steers the activities of the
Institute. Board members must be actively employed by a PMI member company. The Board is elected
by the membership at the Fall PMI Meeting for the coming year, with three year terms beginning in
January.
PMI will hold its 2007 Spring Meeting April 1-4 at the Grove Park Inn,
Asheville, NC. Plans are being finalized now for the PMI 2007 Fall Meeting in
Washington, DC.
