PMI CONFIRMS DATES OF ITS 2003 SPRING MEETING

Schaumburg, Ill. — The Plumbing Manufacturers Institute (PMI) has confirmed the dates of its 2003 Spring Meeting, to be held at the Chateau Elan Winery and Resort in Braselton, Ga. (one hour north of Atlanta). The meeting will be held Saturday, April 5 to Tuesday, April 8.
The Chateau Elan Winery and Resort, located in the Georgia foothills, is marked by the resort's centerpiece - a 16th century style French Chateau surrounded by acres of lush vineyards, a four-star, 276-room Inn, European style health spa with 14 suites, 63 holes of championship golf, tennis center and eight restaurants. Since its first wines were released in 1984, Chateau Elan has become the largest producer of estate-bottled wines in the state of Georgia, winning more than 300 national and international awards.
PMI's semiannual meetings offer members and invited guests the opportunity to meet with other members, gain legislative and regulatory insight, and take an active role in developing and addressing plumbing issues with other key industry leaders. In addition to committee meetings addressing PMI's "Focus Issues" (trade show consolidation, universal conformity assessment, and fair trade), PMI's semiannual meetings include product group meetings, which include but are not limited to specialty finishing, faucets, shower/tub-shower fittings, showerhead and hand showers, flushing devices, and fixtures.
The Plumbing Manufacturers Institute is the voluntary, not-for-profit trade association of manufacturers of plumbing products.
